Health safeguards in place for in-person 2021 Arab Aviation Summit
Extensive health precautions against the coronavirus will safeguard delegates physically attending the 2021 Arab Aviation Summit in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, from March 21-23, 2021.
The eighth edition of the aviation, travel and tourism summit is being held at Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Centre.
The summit will examine the current impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the region’s aviation, travel and tourism industry.
It will also study the road to recovery, under the theme ‘Arab Aviation in the New Normal’.
Those attending the regional summit will include director generals of civil aviation and tourism boards, airline manufacturers and suppliers, travel and tourism representatives, allied industry C-suite executives and AACO, IATA and ICCA representatives.
Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Centre is the first safe meeting facility in the world, as certified by Bureau Veritas, the international leader in testing and inspection services.
Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority implemented stringent safety and security protocols to obtain the Bureau Veritas certification.
Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said: “We support our event and hospitality partners to ensure the ongoing delivery of the highest global safety standards, which will be firmly embedded into the Arab Aviation Summit.
“We are honoured to host this leading conference in Ras Al Khaimah, the first in-person event [in Ras Al Khaimah] since the onset of the pandemic, as we support the industry in navigating the new normal,” Phillips added.
