OQ Technology and Neo Things IoT sign Brazil foray partnership
OQ Technology, the Luxembourg-based satellite 5G IoT company, has signed a partnership agreement with Neo Things IoT, the Brazil-headquartered IoT solutions provider, encompassing the satellite IoT market in Brazil, especially in the agritech field.
The two-year partnership involves providing services and user terminals to end-users, performing roadshows, service trials and closing commercial deals in Brazil.
The collaboration between the two companies comes as OQ Technology is ramping up the launch of its inaugural commercial satellites while Neo Things IoT is rolling out diversified IoT projects in Brazil.
Neo Things IoT is well positioned to provide IoT services and solutions for the agriculture market in Brazil, including satellite communication for the IoT sector.
Omar Qaise, Founder and CEO of OQ Technology, said: “Neo Things IoT will be one of the first companies to work with us on testing, certifying and selling our first 5G NTN IoT user terminal.”
Diego Cabral, CEO of Neo Things IoT, said: “Neo Things IoT aims to become a trendsetter in the development and implementation of IoT projects in Brazil.
“This partnership represents a great deal in the Brazilian market, as the outcome may improve different sectors of the country’s economy and provide growth to national and international companies and entrepreneurs already settled in Brazil,” Cabral added.
