Munich Airport’s VipWing celebrates 10th anniversary and reopens

VipWing, the VIP lounge at Munich International Airport, has reopened to VIP travellers with effect from June 1, 2021, while celebrating its 10th anniversary, having first opened on June 1, 2011.

The VIP lounge had remained closed to flyers for a few months due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The reopening of the facility this month adheres to hygiene measures as per German health regulations concerning Covid-19.

The exclusive VipWing has a total area of 1,700sqm and features light-flooded, spacious rooms.

Passengers flying through Munich Airport can avail of the offers of VipWing, regardless of their airline or booking class.

A VIP service package includes, among other things, complete baggage and customs clearance, passport control and a limousine service between the VIP lounge and aircraft.

Multilingual personal assistants provide all-round support and organise all flight-related processes such as immigration formalities, check-in, baggage handling, tax refunds and customs clearance, while passengers relax in the VipWing.

VipWing services and facilities include access to the open-air beer garden, buffet, bar service, shower facilities, an elegant cigar lounge and an interfaith prayer room.

Private suites with spectacular views of the airport’s apron, bedroom suites and fully equipped conference suites are also available.

To date, more than 250,000 visitors from numerous countries have availed of the services and facilities of VipWing.
